The trial is underway for an Upper Peninsula man accused of the alcohol-fueled stabbing death of another U.P. man in North Dakota more than a year ago. 32-year-old Ryan Anderson of Iron River is charged with murder and attempted murder. He’s accused of stabbing to death his friend, 32-year-old Christopher King of Iron River, and attempting to stab another man on March 17, 2013 at an oil field camp near Ray, North Dakota following a physical altercation with the man’s girlfriend. The Williams County Sheriff’s Office says Anderson used a standard folding knife to stab King twice in the chest and twice in the stomach. The other man was stabbed when he tried to stop him. Anderson could face life in prison without parole if convicted.
