Two Upper Peninsula Lawmakers are among those who could not work out a solution to the state’s road funding problem.
Republicans and Democrats met together earlier this week to discuss a proposed solution but came away empty.
Representative Scott Dianda expressed his disappointment, but said he could not support the up to $600 million dollars of budget cuts proposed.
State Senator Tom Casperson said they need to find a solution that both sides can agree on.
The legislature is not scheduled to meet again until after Labor Day.
