U.P. Lawmaker Testifies On FOIA Legislation

State Representative Ed McBroom of the U.P.’s Dickinson County testified Thursday on a package of bills that would make the governor’s office and the Legislature subject to the Freedom of Information Act.

The debate was spurred in part by transparency issues related to the Flint water crisis.
