Two More Suspects Arrested In Triple Homicide Case

The Michigan State Police have arrested two additional suspects in connection with the triple homicide in Schoolcraft County on the 17th of April. Garry Cordell (46) and Marietta Carlson (28) both of Manistique were arraigned in Schoolcraft County District Court today on multiple counts relating to this incident.

Cordell and Carlson had been held on unrelated charges prior to being arrested on the homicides. Together with Kenneth Brunke (45) also of Manistique, they will face multiple homicide and other charges.

Brunke was recently extradited from Illinois where he had been held since his arrest. The incident remains under investigation.

Barring discovery of additional evidence, the State Police does not expect to seek charges against any additional people in connection to the deaths.
