The two men who may have been involved in the passing of two counterfeit $20 bills at a gas station in Hancock have been arrested. State Troopers from the Calumet Post say they stopped a vehicle just after 7:30 last night in Hancock. The vehicle matched the description of the car seen at the gas station. The driver, a 43-year-old male from Illinois, was arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs. Inside the car, police found evidence of IV drugs, marijuana and an unknown powdery substance. The passenger, a 32-year-old male from Minnesota, was also arrested for a valid Bench Warrant out of Houghton County for Child Support. The other two occupants, residents of Hancock, were released pending further investigation.
