There are a lot of turkeys who wish they could still run on Thursday.
The 4th Annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving.
Participants will meet in the lobby of U.P. Health System—Portage at 9am.
Health & Fitness Manager Angela Luskin says it’s a free 5k run/walk that’s fun for everyone.
The course will start going south on Portage Drive to Ingot Street, connecting with the Maasto Hiihto trail system before looping around Tomasi Road back to Portage Drive, and finishing at the hospital.
There will be water and light snacks for participants at the finish.
