Dr. William Sproule from Michigan Tech and author of Copper Country Streetcars, will lead a tour of the historic Houghton County Traction Company. Tours will board the Red Jacket Trolley at the Carnegie Museum on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The cost is $25.00, which includes refreshments at the museum. As space is limited, the museum recommends purchasing tickets in advance. You may also purchase your ticket at the museum Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from noon to 4:00 pm. This is the second in a series of monthly summer trolley tours. The August 22nd tour is about Houghton’s Geology, with tour guide MTU Professor Dr. William Rose.
