“There’s No Place Like Home”–Calumet’s Vertin Gallery Launching New Exhibit

Calumet, MI – The new exhibition in the Vertin Gallery Art and Antiques is “There’s No Place Like Home” which kicks off the Winter Market Gallery series over the next 7 week-ends. Special musical guest is Country Artist Penny Shute Menze,  Born in the U.P., this girl has been dragged all over and has finally made it home.

Featured artists include metal sculptures and natural photography by Dave Walli, photographic reflections of the Copper Country by Mark Bukovich and Photographer Eric Hackney Photos from “My adventures across Michigan”.

Antiques, jewelry, and gifts from local artists and collectors will be featured including vintage, modern, industrial chic, mid-century modern and classic retail items available for the style minded shopper.

The public is invited to a reception on Friday, November 6th 6-9 p.m.

The Vertin Gallery is located on the corner of 6th and Oak Street in downtown Calumet. The exhibition will be on display through November 30th, 2015.

Winter Market hours are Fri and Saturday 11-6 and First Fridays 11-9 and by appointment.
