The Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force has become an endorsed organization of the District 10 Lions. Earlier in the year during the District 10 Lions of Michigan convention in Ishpeming the groups of local chapters voted to make the Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force a district-endorsed organization. The endorsement by the district creates a new partnership to help raise awareness for human trafficking issues in the region.
The Single District 10 Lions of Michigan have 47 clubs in communities around the Upper Peninsula. Through the organization’s broad reach in the region, the partnership hopes to educate and promote the UPHTTF mission.
