Tech Grads Have High Mid-career Salaries

A business website thinks very highly of Michigan Tech graduates. Business Insider gave high marks to MTU for the salaries of its graduates by midcareer, ranking Tech alums 15th with an average midcareer salary of $94,700. The website also reports that Michigan Tech grads have the 10th-highest starting salary in the country among public universities, making it one of the most underrated schools as well. It also lists the job, graduate school or military placement rate within six months of graduation at 92 percent, although in fact Tech’s placement rate now is almost 95 percent.
