Task Force To Give Report On Flint Water Crisis

A legislative committee created to review Flint’s water crisis will hear from the leaders of a task force today that spent months investigating the disaster.

Ken Sikkema and Chris Kolb, both former state lawmakers, will present their findings today.

Last month, their task force concluded that the state of Michigan is “fundamentally accountable” for Flint’s water crisis because of decisions made by state regulators and state-appointed emergency managers who led the city at the time.
