Take Precautions with Enterovirus

State health officials are urging people to take precautions after the first reported death in Michigan from the enterovirus. Twenty-one-month-old Madeline Reid from Clinton Township died Friday after complications with the seasonal respiratory and stomach virus. Enterovirus D68 has made thousands ill in 21 other states and has contributed to several deaths mostly among children.
