Governor Rick Snyder says politicians should spend less time playing the blame game.
Speaking at the Detroit Chamber’s Mackinac Policy Conference on Mackinac Island, Snyder said he’s concerned about the nation’s broken political culture.
He says “you cannot maintain being a great country if your leadership spends their time fighting and blaming each other.”
Snyder says he hasn’t fought or blamed anyone since taking office, because he wasn’t hired to do that.
He says his job is to make the lives of Michiganders better.
