Swedetown Trails Club Award Grant from the Michigan Mountain Biking Alliance

The Swedetown Trails Club receives a grant for improving beginner mountain biking trails. Recently the League of Michigan Bicyclists announced the 2024 recipients of the organization’s Trailblazing Grant. Grant awards ranged from under 2,000 dollars to 5000 dollars for projects that support the creation, improvement, or maintenance of mountain biking trails in Michigan. Swedetown Trails Club was named alongside five other trail clubs in the state to receive a grant award. Swedetown Trails says the group will use the funds to support the creation of a universal access beginner mountain biking trail within its system. The League of Michigan Bicyclists and the Michigan Mountain Biking Alliance joined forces in 2023. With the MMBA working as under the League as a division of the organization.
