Survey Says Business Climate Is Improving

More companies think Michigan is becoming a better place to do business, according to a new survey by the state.

The survey of customers of the departments of Environmental Quality, Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, and Treasury found positive opinions of Michigan’s business climate is up 19-percent since 2013.

Tony Stamas of the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) says the attributes the improved numbers the state’s efforts to cut red tape and improve customer service.
