Supreme Court To Hear Immigrant Program Arguments

Immigrants and pro-immigration supporters from Michigan will join counterparts from other parts of the country in Washington DC today as the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments on the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans program.

President Obama pushed the idea as a way to protect millions of undocumented immigrants.

Those supporting the program say parents of children who were born in the United States shouldn’t be deported.

A decision from the high court is expected near the end of June.
