Suicides At A 30 Year High

A recent report shows suicide has increased in nearly every age group and has surged to the highest level in nearly 30 years.

But Dr. Katherine Lewis Ginebaugh , the director of the suicide prevention program at Western Michigan University, says it’s not an epidemic.

Ginebaugh says there are effective treatments for depression — which can help people who have suicidal thoughts.
