Stolen Vehicle Found in Osceola Township

A vehicle that was reported stolen on Valentine’s Day in Ishpeming has been recovered. Troopers from the Michigan State Police at the Calumet Post say they observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind the Holiday gas station in Osceola Township after it was closed. Troopers then discovered four juveniles who had just recently escaped from the Great Lakes Recovery center in Negaunee and had stolen the vehicle the night before. The suspects were two girls and two boys, ages 14 to 16. The 15-year-old male was charged with possession of marijuana and suspected meth. They were turned back over to the detention center and will be facing more charges in Marquette County.
