Status Improving For Teen Victim In Kalamazoo Shooting

The 14-year-old girl who was first reported dead in last week’s shooting spree in Kalamazoo, is improving.

A spokeswoman for Bronson Medical Hospital where Abigail Kopf is recovering, says the tube is out and the girl is breathing on her own.

Kopf was shot in the head February 20th outside a Cracker Barrel restaurant by 45-year-old Jason Dalton.

Four others were killed in that shooting.

Two others, a father and son, were shot to death at a car dealership by the same gunman minutes earlier.

Dalton is charged with murder and attempted murder.
