Michigan republicans are praising Governor Whitmer’s funding efforts to combat soil erosion.
It’s a good start, but more work will be needed.
Representative Beth Griffin said she was happy to see Governor Whitmer take a step in the right direction to help families of shoreline communities affected by erosion.
However, Griffin feels the proposed actions aren’t enough, as the record setting water levels, have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.
Representative Griffin and her colleagues remain committed to helping shoreline families and businesses.
