Governor Rick Snyder is set to deliver his fourth State of the State message tonight. He will deliver the speech in the State House of Representatives chamber before a joint session of the House and Senate at 7 p.m. The State of the State Address is given each year to outline the governor’s agenda and priorities in the year ahead. The governor may echo his call, from last year’s address, for lawmakers to increase funding to repair Michigan’s roads. While it’s unclear what exactly what the governor will propose, Democratic leaders know what they would like to see the Republican governor call for.
