A recent study by travel bargain-hunting website Expedia debunks the myth that there’s no best time during the week to buy an airline ticket.
Based on thousands of flights booked last year, Expedia and Airline Reporting Corporation claim the lowest average ticket prices were bought on weekends.
U.S.-to-Europe flights were 16 percent cheaper on Sunday, while U.S.-to-Asia air fare was ten percent cheaper.
Trips within the U.S. booked on Sunday were eleven percent less.
