Wayne County Republican Canvassers Change Minds – Again

The Republican members of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers want to change their votes on certifying the results of the November election – again.

Monica Palmer and William Hartmann made national news Monday night, when they refused to certify the Wayne County results, even though no evidence of vote fraud was produced.

Several hours later, they relented, and approved the tallies.

Now, reports say both have signed affidavits alleging they were pressured to change their votes.

There is no official procedure for recanting such a vote. The certified results have already been submitted to the state.
