Warm Great Lakes Could Affect Upcoming Seasons

How hot has it been?

The water temperature of the Great Lakes is at its warmest since 2012.

The warmest Great Lake is currently Lake Erie at 78.5 degrees.

The warm water could be a sign that the state will avoid early frosts in the fall.

But some say it could also bring on additional lake effect snow in the winter.
