UP200 Sled Dog Race Approaching

Preparations are underway for the UP 200.  The sled dog race is a qualifier for the Iditarod, according to Darlene Walsh, of the Upper Peninsula Sled Dog Association.

Walsh says they need about 200 volunteers to handle things like road crossings, merchandise, and dog handling.

The races take place February 16th-19th. The Copperdog 150 will be held March 3rd-5th.
