Governor Rick Snyder is halfway through an eight-day investment mission to China, focusing on promoting job-creating business growth and attracting investment in Michigan, plus pushing the state as a tourism destination.
As part of the trip, he will visit Shanghai Auto City, which is an automotive production base on the outskirts of Shanghai.
He will also take part in several events with members of the University of Michigan.
The governor will return on November 19.
