Snyder Expected To Green Light Automated Vehicle Testing

Governor Snyder is expected to sign a package of bills today that will pave the way for more testing of automated vehicles in Michigan.

Snyder has said this is important to the state’s auto industry, but it’s also important to the highway infrastructure because self driving cars could cut down on traffic.

The new laws would establish responsibility for testing of automated vehicles and even allow some vehicles on the road without steering wheels and pedals.
