Schools Look To Reduce Suicides Among Med Students

There are high rates of depression and thoughts of suicide among medical students according to a new study.

Researchers say stress and anxiety along with the competitive nature of medical school may be to blame.

Dr. Robert Folberg, the dean of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, says taking care of the students well-being was a top priority when designing their curriculum.
