We’ve been hearing more and more about fake news for the past several months–something that you find on the internet.
But President Donald Trump has frequently called the news “fake news.”
That’s John Lindstrom, the publisher of Gongwer News, news about the Michigan Legislature.
He’ll be part of a panel discussion tonight at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School “Social Media, the Ethics of Fake News” at the Lansing campus.
He says he wants to make the point that when online, you should check if a story is legitimate before you share it.
