Obama’s Visit Met With Protestors

People waiting to see President Barack Obama in Ann Arbor on Monday were greeted by protestors of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

U of M law student John Petoskey wanted to make sure he got the message across that water is life.

Petoskey is a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.

He says his protest was a great way to educate people on issues not only facing indigenous people but everyone.
