Munising Man Facing Murder Charge

A Munising man is facing a murder charge in Alger County.

Jason David Sadowski was arrested Friday afternoon following an investigation into a suspicious death of a 58-year-old Munising man on May 30th.

Sadowski is currently lodged at the Alger County Sheriff’s Department where he is being held on a no bond warrant.

He was arrested on the charge of Homicide – Open Murder, a felony with a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Sadowski was previously arrested in 2013 for solicitation to commit murder, two counts of torture, two counts of unlawful imprisonment and two counts of assault by strangulation where he was convicted and sentenced to 40-80 years in prison.

After an appeal process he was acquitted in 2017 of all charges.
