Campaign 2016 wraps up today when voters cast ballots for federal, state and local races and other tax issues.
Michigan voters will cast ballots for president, all 14 congressional seats, all 110 Michigan representatives and two state Supreme Court justices.
In addition, there are city, township and school board races that will be decided.
Polls are open from 7am until 8pm.
A couple reminders from the Secretary of State’s office. The use of video cameras, still cameras and other recording devices are not allowed in the voting precincts, and you may not display campaign literature or other items in the polling place or within 100 feet of an entrance to a voting precinct.
When the day is done, Michigan will have at least two new members of Congress.
Republicans Candice Miller in Macomb and St. Clair counties, and Dan Benishak in northern Michigan are retiring at the end of the year.
Businessmen Paul Mitchell and Frank Accavitti Jr. are running to replace Miller.
In the First Congressional District, up north and in the Upper Peninsula, Republican Jack Bergman is running against Democrat Lon Johnson.
