The Michigan Lottery is apologizing after a television technical problem told players it was a special bonus drawing, when it wasn’t.
The mistake happened during Monday night’s Daily 3 and Daily 4 drawing. In the case of an actual bonus drawing, it would have meant even more prize money for those with the winning numbers.
The Daily drawings are among the most popular of Michigan Lottery games, accounting for nearly 25 percent of annual plays.
The Michigan Lottery said 32-hundred people played different variations of the Daily 3 and Daily 4 Monday night.
