A special state commission, formed in the wake of the Flint water crisis is recommending a requirement that all young children from age one-to-two be tested for lead poisoning.
Because of that, Lansing Bureau Chief Tim Skubick says the state would have wait for parents to bring their kids in for the testing before crunching the data.
