Lawsuit Asks that Wayne, Washtenaw, Ingham County Ballots Be Tossed

A federal lawsuit initiated by a group of private citizens is asking that all the votes cast in the presidential election last week in three Michigan counties be thrown out.

The action was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, although the areas being targeted are in the southeastern and central parts of the state.

It alleges that there was so much fraud in Wayne, Washtenaw and Ingham Counties that all 1.2 million votes cast there should be tossed.

As justification, the suit cites several alleged instances of fraud that have already been disproved. The plaintiffs say they have additional evidence of fraud, but do not detail it.

If the suit is successful, Michigan’s result would switch from favoring Democrat Joe Biden to favoring Republican President Donald Trump.

MLive.com reports that none of the four plaintiffs lives in any of the targeted counties.
