Group To Look At How Schools Are Funded

Top Michigan business and education experts will launch an effort to reexamine K-12 funding to fully prepare all students for jobs and success

The School Finance Research Collaborative is a diverse group of business leaders and education experts from all across the state who agree it’s time to change the way Michigan schools are funded.

Over the next year, the Collaborative will create a roadmap to provide adequate resources to all Michigan public school students, from the inner cities to the suburbs to rural areas and the U.P.
