Governor Gretchen Whitmer will be making several stops in the Upper Peninsula this week.
She will meet with organizations, staff and constituents to learn about the issues that matter most to the U.P. and discuss her goals as governor.
Whitmer will begin her tour today at the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Meeting.
The governor will then tour the Soo Locks before visiting the Michigan Department of Transportation Service Center for a Meet and Greet and wrap up the day at Northern Wings in Newberry.
