A former state lawmaker from southwestern Michigan will be the new budget director.
Governor Rick Snyder announced the appointment of Al Pscholka.
Pscholka chaired the House Appropriations Committee for the past two years until he was term limited at the end of the year.
Pscholka will replace John Roberts in mid-February after the new budget is done.
