Gas Prices Drop But Still Remain High

A price break at the pump.

AAA Michigan reports the statewide average decreased about 10-cents last week, now at about $2.40 a gallon.

That’s 61-cents more than the average at this time last year.

Unfortunately, the highest prices in the state are being found in the U.P.

Michigan is currently ranked 14th in the nation for the most expensive average daily gas price.
