Fewer People Calling In Sick When They Feel Fine

A new survey by CareerBuilder shows fewer and fewer people are calling in sick when they are feeling fine.

And there are some crazy excuses for the day off.

The poll of more than 5,000 full and part-time workers shows 35-percent said they have called in when there were feeling fine.

Most of the people said they took the day off because they just didn’t feel like going to work or they had a doctor’s appointment.

A couple of the crazy excuses called in include one person who said the ozone in the air flattened his tires, a woman who said she wasn’t sick, but her llama was and another who said they ate too much birthday cake.
