Enjoy free fishing, off-roading, state park entry June 8-9

The public is invited to enjoy a weekend of free fishing, off-roading, and entry into state parks this Saturday and Sunday.

It’s one of the “Three Free” weekends presented by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources where Michigan residents and visitors can grab a fishing pole, ride the off-road trails and visit state parks, all free of charge.

You can enjoy fishing without a license (all other fishing regulations apply) and take part in a variety of no-cost events planned around the state.

ORV riders can ride without purchasing a license or trail permit and everyone is welcome to visit state parks without the regular Recreation Passport entry fee.
