Taking a road trip this holiday weekend?
AAA Michigan is asking drivers to buckle up, ditch the distracted driving, drive safe and sober, and obey speed limits.
Spokeswoman Susan Hiltz says over one million Michiganders are expected to travel over the Labor Day weekend, the third most traveled holiday of the summer season.
Traffic deaths doubled from 2014 to 2015, two out of three of those were alcohol related, and 25 percent didn’t buckle up.
