Since August 19th of this year, Michigan has seen 144 possible cases of Zika Virus.
Out of those suspected cases, 31 of them have been confirmed.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human services says so far not one case has been locally acquired, all came from travelers outside of the state.
Many people infected with Zika virus won’t have symptoms or will only have mild symptoms.
The Center for Disease Control says the most common symptoms of Zika are fever, rash, joint pain and red eyes, though some people experience muscle pain and headache as well.
