$1 Million In Grants Going To Conservation Projects

Nearly $1 million in grants have been awarded to various conservation organizations across the state.

The Michigan DNR says just under $934,000 will fund projects to enhance grassland complexes, winter deer complexes, forest openings and small game habitats.

National Wild Turkey Federation near Oscoda is getting the largest piece of the pie with over $174,000.
