Michigan is the 8th worst state at controlling bullying. That according to WalletHub.com, which analyzed statistics from each state. The state is 38th in the percentage of high school students bullied on school property, and 39th in the percentage of high school students bullied online. Eight states were not included in the analysis because there was not enough data to analyze. The analysis also says Michigan was 17th in the percentage of high school students who missed school out of fear of being bullied, and 23rd in the percentage of high school students who attempted suicide. The website says its analysis focused on nine key metrics such as bullying incident rates and truancy costs. National Stop Bullying Day is February 9th.
