Snyder Signs Strict 180-Day Limit To Collect Signatures

It will now be mandatory to collect valid signatures within a 180-day time limit to get an initiative on the election ballot.

Governor Rick Snyder has signed strict legislation to enforce that limit.

This at the same time that more than 100,000 signatures were declared invalid in an attempt to get the legalization of recreational marijuana on the November ballot.

It’s not clear if the Governor’s signature applies to that pending initiative.
