Snyder Appoints New State Fire Marshal.

Michigan has a new state fire marshal.

Governor Snyder on Friday named Oakland County risk manager Julie Secontine to the position.

She replaces Acting Fire Marshal Mike Deprez.

The governor says Secontine brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the position and her involvement with fire safety departments across the state will be an asset in protecting all Michiganders.
