Skiers Enjoy Their Time in Copper Country

The skiers that have taken part in this week’s cross country ski championships have had to deal with a lot this week, including frigid temperatures that forced some of the races to be postponed. And during some of the downtime, they get to enjoy what the Copper Country has to offer. Alexander Treinen from the Alaskan Pacfic University Ski Team says his team travels a lot but he really enjoys the small town feel of the local area.

And those who live here agree. Deedra Irwin is part of the Michigan Tech Ski Team and she says people have been enjoying all that the Copper Country has to offer.
