Sentences Handed Down In Escanaba Drug Bust

Three Escanaba residents arrested during a large UPSET bust in late March were handed down sentences in Delta County Circuit Court.

36-year-old Jaime Mason was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for two days served. She’ll also have to pay $698 in fines.

22-year-old Shanna Martin was given four months with credit for 90 days along with $968 in fines.

32-year-old Terry Eskofski was sentenced to nine months and $198 in fines. He’ll receive credit for 89 days served.

All three pleaded guilty to delivery or manufacture of a schedule four controlled substance.

The trio was among seventeen people arrested by UPSET detectives as part of an investigation into the sale and distribution of buprenorphine.
