Secretary of State Closed for Holiday

Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson is  reminding residents that all branch offices will be closed next Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Branch offices will resume its normal business hours on Tuesday January 16^th. The Agency urges motorists to use its website at ExpressSOS.com.

Licenses and plates that expire on a day when state offices are closed, such as a holiday or weekend, can be renewed the following day without penalty.

License plate tabs can also be renewed at Self-Service Stations..
